白介素-18（Interleukin-18，IL-18），也稱(chēng)為干擾素-γ誘導因子，是一種促炎細胞因子，造血細胞和非造血細胞等許多細胞類(lèi)型都有產(chǎn)生IL-18的潛力[1]。IL-18的主要功能是通過(guò)誘導Th1細胞分泌干擾素-γ （IFN-γ）來(lái)實(shí)現的。這種細胞因子與IL-12協(xié)同作用有助于Th1的分化，在宿主抵御細胞內細菌、病毒和真菌的防御機制中非常重要[2]。IL-18與IL-12聯(lián)合使用可激活細胞毒性T細胞和自然殺傷細胞產(chǎn)生IFN-γ，從而可能有助于腫瘤免疫。IL-18的生物學(xué)活性不僅局限于這些細胞，而且在Th17細胞反應的發(fā)展中也起作用。IL-18與IL-23協(xié)同作用可誘導Th17細胞分泌IL-17[3]。
